Initially one of the co-founders of the East Rock, I am now the active manager of crew. I started dancing in 2003 with a concentration on b-boyin'. Along the way I have encounter some limited experience in other genres of dance (ie contemporary, modern), but my focus is to further develop my breaking abilities and expand into other Hip Hop styles. My current goals are to; encourage others to realize the benefits of hip hop and to stay ugly.

Greg helped found ERC, which came as a natural extension of his love for hip-hop. Now Greg is furthering his b-boying part-time in Toronto, while he studies jazz.

With some exposure to jazz as a child, I've been "breakdancing" since the age of 10, although I would say I've only been actually bboy'n since 2005 - the early East Rock days. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to learn the dance, history, and evergrowing culture from the east coast bboy'n community - with influences from across Canada.

Chef Hynes here, started b-boyin in high school by learning how to windmill, loves windmills so much I did one with my car going 110 km on the highway. Does a bit a djin, so to those djs that think that they're the greatest, just stop look and listen cause you haven't heard the latest! Oh yeah and I'm indestructible... BAM!!!

Born and raised in the city of Seoul, Korea. Started dancing since the age of 15, mostly Hip-Hop & Street Funk. Moved to Newfoundland as a high school exchange student in Sept. 2004, found the legendary East Rock and officially became a member of the crew in April, 2005. Still rockin' the most east coast with the rest of the B-Boyz in the crew.

Drawn to the talent of ERC Dave joined the crew in the winter of 06/07 and soon after acted as manager and agent for ERC till November 07. Dave's rockin with the crew once again after a stint back in Halifax for 08.

Paddy Greene

Paddy originally started B-Boyin' in 2005 when he took lessons from East Rock Crew. He started doing a few shows with the crew, but soon had to take a hiatus from B-Boyin' due to an injury. During that time he started to learn various funk styles (mostly poppin') and started DJing as well. With his injury healed, he is stoked to be back B-Boyin' and stoked to be part of the crew.

Started B-Boying early 2008 of grade 9. I was introduced to it while I was taking a hip-hop class. A member of the East Rock Crew took over and began teaching us a few things. I was never any good at sports and there wasn’t anything that I was interested in until I started breakin' with ERC. This is one thing I'll never give up.

Growing up in in the small town of Iqaluit I experimented with many sports, acting and instruments. Until in late 2006 I was delivered with true knowledge of hip-hop and b-boying at a hip-hop workshop in Iqaluit. This workshop was conducted by the candian floor masters (much respect), and I have been dancing ever since.
